Retail and hardware shops

Management system for retail and hardware shops

Hundreds of items, daily sales, suppliers to pay and customers on credit. OpsPilot tracks stock levels with reorder alerts, daily sales and expenses, supplier purchases and payables, customer balances and staff attendance.

Common problems

What retail and hardware shops run into, and how the system helps

Each problem on the left maps to a practical capability on the right. Nothing here is a promise of savings or revenue.

Stock counts are out of date.

Stock levels are recorded as items come in and go out, with low items flagged for reordering.

Daily sales and expenses take time to add up.

Sales and expenses are recorded as they happen and summarised daily.

Supplier payables and customer credit are hard to follow.

Purchases, payables and customer balances are recorded, with amounts that are past due listed.

It is unclear which items sell and which sit idle.

Reports show movement by item so you can see what to reorder and what is slow.

FAQ

Questions from retail and hardware shops

Does it replace our point-of-sale or receipts?

Not unless we agree that during scoping. We discuss how your counter, receipts and tax records fit before building, and OpsPilot does not make tax-compliance claims.

Can it scan barcodes?

That is not a standard feature. If you rely on barcodes, tell us during scoping and we will say what is possible.

Can we bring in our existing item list?

Usually yes. Spreadsheet item lists can be imported during setup, and the format is agreed in writing.
